Visited Zoncello for a delicious dinner on a Sunday night. When you first walk in you are amazed by the interior, so many fine details! Clearly a lot of thought and work went into the design and fit out. From the way the tables are set, through to the different glassware that each Zonzo Estate Spritz is served in, the experience is just fabulous. On to the food, the Sicilian fried chicken is to die for and the pizzas are a much try- such a generous size! Would highly recommend for a visit.

The service to our private outdoor seating was outstanding. Each team member impeccably dressed and ready to provide the 'whole package' which is ZONCELLO - Healesville - Yarra Valley! The atmosphere created by the style and decor, matched the attention to detail. The food and drinks were presented with conversation about our choices. We were patiently assisted with matching our wine to our meals with a free tasting of two whites! Timing was excellent and the lemon liquor gifted at the completion of our meal made for a perfect celebration of 'Life in the Yarra Valley' Congratulations to Zoncello we wish you every success for the future! Starting with the intricate door handles, to then stepping into a modern Italian restaurant! Having the mini Zonzo shop, to the amazing table decor! All fantastic! The food taking me back to Italy! Would highly recommend!

Popped in on a whim and loved it. The space is beautifully done with a big bar, elegant layout, and a huge retail area full of Zoncello’s latest bottles. Had a glass of the Roro, which was outstanding, plus a couple of whites. Surprisingly, the staff weren’t super familiar with the drinks and the wine, but I guess that’s just because it’s so new, they’re probably still learning the ropes. Didn’t try the food, just enjoyed the drinks and the atmosphere, which was a bit flat for mid-afternoon on a Friday. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in Healesville.

The venue was beautifully decked out. The waiting staff were polite and attentive. We had the shared banquet for 6 people. The olives, the antipasto meat platter and bread was lovely. The calamari platter was nice also. The salad and fries were ok for the main, but the main pasta was very dissapointing. It was an odd vegemite flavored spaghetti. It was not the best dish at all. Particularly if one is not a fan of vegemite, it seemed extremely odd and out of synch with the remaining dishes. The 6th guest had the gluten free penne with a duck ragout which seemed more conventional. Additionally, the pasta serving of two small bowls of vegemite pasta between 5 adults was not enough for the mains. The serving size for the mains I feel, needs to be re-assessed. The cost of the drinks added to the cost, which was a bit too expensive just for lunch.

This used to be Innocent Bystander, but changed hands earlier this year. The restaurant layout, is the same but has a fresher look. One of the waiters told us it had been open for about a month at the time of our visit. We shared a few starters (bruschetta with anchovies, chicken and lamb skewers) before enjoying our own mains (steak, duck ragu and barramundi). We did not have dessert, nor did we have any wine or cocktails. We did buy the limoncello spritzer to take away and that was very nice. It was a pleasant lunch on a Friday ; we made a reservation but it wasn’t necessary as it was not full ….i suspect it is more busy on sunny weekends.
